Today, Capital 95.8 FM, a Mandarin radio channel, interviewed Kathy on her winning the award for best student presentation at the Willi Hennig Conference in Fagernes, Norway. Her interview was broadcasted immediately after the 7pm news and can be heard on our website.
Farhan’s stellar academic performance in Psychology modules has earned him the student of the year award for 2nd year students. He also stubbornly holds on to his place on the Dean’s list for four straight semesters. Congratulations!
Six members of the Evolutionary Biology Laboratory went to the Willi Hennig Meeting in Fagernes, Norway. Four students won prizes for their talks. Kathy Su won first prize, Farhan Ali third prize, entailing cash prizes, and Shiyang Kwong, and Nalini Puniamoorthy won honorable mentions and a one year subscription to Cladistics. Rudolf Meier was elected a founding fellow of the society. NUS released a glowing press release to local newspapers.
